if your running windows 10 Pro you can use GPEDIT.MSC to take control of your internet because windows 10 managers 80% of your internet we can override that and you want to always make sure to do a system restore point before doing stuff like this just in case you think you have to change it back to do this run a command prompt with administrator privileges (left click start go down to the windows system folder find the command prompt and run as administrator next type gpedit.msc in the black box, local Group policy editor should pop up, look at the left side under local computer policy you want to select the administrative templates then network and then Qos Packet Scheduler then on the right you will see (Limit reservable bandwidth) double click it and select the check box to enable it go down to bandwidth limit%, change this number to 5 hit apply and close everything go check your internet you should see anywhere between 15 to 80 percent better speed not all is lost for you windows 10 home users gpedit.msc comes installed on windows 10 pro but windows 10 home user can go get and install it here is a link Enable Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc) in Windows 10 Home Edition - MajorGeeks m.majorgeeks.com/content/page/enable_group_policy_editor_in_windows_10_home_edition.htmlhope I explained it well enough for you
